my story

I grew up in an industrial suburban town in California where at a very young age, I started to dream of a different, extraordinary life. Fashion Design School led me to San Francisco, then to Los Angeles. I spent my early adult years there and was working in the Fashion and Music industries in the 90’s- very exciting! Surrounded by creatives and alternative minds I was fortunate to meet my psychoanalyst, Tracey Woodward, who was the inspiration for the character YODA in Star Wars (TRULY!). In this period, I found myself searching for my “WHY” as an artist which led me to being a hypnotherapist today.

I was aware that I had a natural artistic gift, but what was I meant to do with it? I felt that I must be blocked somewhere and began reading the book, Many Masters, Many Lives, by Dr. Brian Weiss which was an account of past lives through regression therapy. After reading the book I was convinced that my block was a result of a past life, a negative experience as an artist.

As I was deeply frustrated and anxious to find out why I was blocked, I asked Tracy if he would do a hypnosis regression with me and he said he wouldn’t hypnotize me but as I had already studied self-hypnosis, we could do a session together, me putting myself into a hypnotic state and he would accompany me on my journey. This journey entirely changed my life! Traveling through lots of imagery, clearing, other questions I had, I finally landed in pure light! My WHY” was revealed and resolved all conflict or question I have ever had about my purpose as an artist. A tremendous inner peace has stayed with me and I was able to maintain this connection with pure light as a place to guide me and have insight into whatever I seek in life. This was a beautifully dramatic end to my psychoanalysis.

Tracy had told me early on that I was an artist first and a therapist second. I had the gift for both. I had the innate intuition of knowing how to help someone shift. I was fascinated by the work and throughout my life continued to seek expansion of consciousness in parallel to my professional art career. I yearned for everyone to have such an awakening and connection… I read books by Milton Hyland Erickson (5 December 1901 – 25 March 1980) an American psychiatrist and psychologist specializing in medical hypnosis and family therapy. I would have pursued a practice in hypnosis earlier in life if I didn’t have to go back to school for so many years and then I discovered Marisa Peer.

I can truly say, “I do what I love and I love what I do”.

I found out that I could study her course RTT- Rapid Transformational  Therapy and become a certified hypnotherapist. Rapid Transformational Therapy is a powerful innovative therapy, which gets to the root cause of why we may feel stuck. It is a simple and powerful method that combines several very effective proven techniques to bring out the best in you, permanently. It comes with a personalized recording post-session to help you create new thoughts, habits, and behavior for fast, effective and long-term change.

Traveling back in time… my move to Switzerland. It was a life challenge, adventure, call to walk into the void. It hasn’t all been easy but I haven’t looked back and many doors have opened that I could never have imagined while living in California.

A dear friend and client has witnessed my journey from my arrival in Switzerland and has written about it with great heart and perception so I will let her finish my story:

“I woke up from a dream of you this morning and the swirling serendipity of your move to Switzerland, landing in an ancient artistic village, finding, loving and building a life with a migrant refugee and deciding to teach your creative approach to life. Beginning with children then leading up to the EROS project which encompasses all that there is- based on LOVE! Your bravery in continuing to find freedom in pouring your paintings and seeing where the flow will take you…from “Calling All Angels” through to the sacredness of women, their bodies and finding and meeting the sacred wounded masculine.

Then uniting all in yourself and reaching your own age of enlightenment, now deciding to share that path with others through a tried and tested, but fast technique invented for these times when we must all face our own shadows and be ready to move on to an uncertain future, but clearly grounded in our own life experiences and all that we learned.

BTW, it was no accident that you were married in a labyrinth on a sacred pilgrimage route! The concept that we are all just pilgrims working with the energy of our own flow in life that we can only really see when we take the time to step back and view it as a whole.

Regression and hypnosis can provide us with that perspective.”
